1. O young and fearless Prophet

오 젊고 용감하신
of Ancient Galilee:
갈릴리 예언자
Thy life is still aa-long God's ho-ly way.
그 생애 모두 바쳐온
serve humanity,
인류 섬기며
To make our thoughts and actions
이 세상 사람들을
less prone to please the crowd,
기쁘게 하시고
To stand with humble cour-age
진리를 위하여서
for Truth with hearts uncowed.
굳세게 사셨네

2. We marvel at the purpose

오 주님 가신 그 길
that held Thee to Thy course,
그 뜻이 놀라와
While ever on the hilltip
저 언덕 위에 높이
before Thee loomed the cross
십자가 보인다
Thy steadfast face set forward
사랑과 생명 다해
where love and duty shone,
주 결심하신 길
While we betray so quickly
우리는 배반하나
and leave Thee there alone.
주 홀로 가신다

3. Create in us the splendor

오 주여 우리 맘에
that dawns when hearts are kind,
새 빛을 주시사
That knows, not race or station
그 넓은 사랑 따라
as bound'ries of the mind,
만 백성 대하며
That learns to value beauty
인간의 존귀함을
in heart or brain or soul,
배우게 하시고
And longs to bind God's children
주 안에 하나 되어
in-o one perfect whole.
완전케 하소서

4. O young and fearless Prophet,

오 젊고 용감하신
we need Thy presence here,
참 예언자이시여
Amid our pride and glory
우리가 교만할 때
to see Thy face appear
주 얼굴 뵈소서
Once more to hear Thy Challenge
소란한 중에서도
above our noisy day,
주 말씀 듣고서
Again to lead us forward
거룩한 길을 따라
along God's holy way. Amen.
