Matthew 18:8~14 (마태복음 18:8~14)

8 If your hand or your foot causes you to sin cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.

8 만일 네 손이나 네 발이 너를 범죄케 하거든 찍어 내버리라 불구자나 절뚝발이로 영생에 들어가는 것이 두 손과 두 발을 가지고 영원한 불에 던지우는 것보다 나으니라

9 And if you eye causes you to sin, gogue it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter eternal life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

9 만일 네 눈이 너를 범죄케 하거든 빼어 내버리라 한 눈으로 영생에 들어가는 것이 두 눈을 가지고 지옥 불에 던지우는 것보다 나으니라

 

10 "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels of heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

10 삼가 이 소자 중에 하나도 업신여기지 말라 너희에게 말하노니 저희 천사들이 하늘에서 하늘에 계신 내 아버지의 얼굴을 항상 뵈옵느니라

12 What do you think. If a man owns a hundread of sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?

12 너희 생각에는 어떻겠느뇨 만일 어떤 사람이 양 일백 마리가 있는데 그중에 하나가 길을 잃었으면 그 아흔아홉 마리를 산에 두고 가서 길 잃은 양을 찾지 않겠느냐

13 And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about ninety-nine that did not wander off. 

13 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 만일 찾으면 길 잃지 아니한 아흔아홉 마리보다 이것을 더 기뻐하리라

14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.

14 이와 같이 이 소자 중에 하나라도 잃어지는 것은 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 뜻이 아니니라
