1. In the cross of Christ I glory,
주가 지신 십자가를
Tow'ring o'er the wrecks of time.
나는 자랑하노라
All the light of ascred story
성경중의 모든 말씀
Gathers round its head sublime.
거기 중심 되었네
2. When the woes of life o'ertake me,
온갖 환난 덮쳐와도
Hopes deceive, and fears annoy,
십자가의 은혜로
Never shall the Cross forsake me.
버림받지 아니하고
Lo! It glows with peace and joy.
평안함을 얻었네
3. When the sun of bliss is beaming
밝은 아침 빛과 사랑
Light and love upon my way,
나의 길을 비출 때
From the Cross the radiance streaming
십자가의 빛난 영광
Adds more luster to the day.
더욱 찬란하여라
4. Bane and blessing, pain and pleasure,
온갖 기쁨 갖은 고초
By the cross are sanctified
십자가의 은혜로
Peace is there that knows no measure,
참된 평화 한량없이
Joys that thro' all time abide. Amen.
