1. The Lord is ris'n indeed
사망을 이긴 주
The grave hath last its prey
교회의 머리라
With Him shall rise the ransom'd seed,
죄 사함 받은 우리도
To reign in endless day
주 함께 살리라
2. The Lord is ris'n indeed
주 부활하셨네
At-ending angels, hear:
이 기쁜 소식을
Up to the courts of heav'n with speed,
온 세상 모두 알도록
The joyfultiding bear
다 전파하리라
3. Then wake your golden lyres
저 모든 천사여
And strike each cheerful chord
거문고 타면서
Join, all ye bright celestial choirs,
사망을 이긴 주님을
To sing our risen Lord.
늘 찬송하여라
4. The Lord is ris'n indeed
하늘에 오른 주
He lives, to die no more
영원히 계시사
He lives, the sinner's cause to plead,
온 교회 성도 위하여
Whose curse and shame He bore. Amen.
