1. Chief of sinners though I be,
죄인 괴수 날 위해
Jesus shed His blood for me
십자가를 지신 주
Died that I might live on high,
길과 진리 되시며
Lived that I might never die.
우리 생명 되시네
As the branch is to the vine,
내가 주와 하나됨
I am His, and He is mine.
포도 비유 같도다
2. Oh, the height of Jesus love!
예수님의 그 사랑
Higher than the heav'ns above,
하늘보다 더 높고
Deeper than the depths of sea,
바다 보다 더 깊어
Lasting as eternity.
영원 무궁하도다
Love that found me wondrous tho't!
나와 같은 죄인을
Found me when I sought Him not.
주가 찾아주셨네
3. Chief of sinners though I be,
나와 같은 죄인도
Christ is All in All to me.
예수님이 보살펴
All my wants to Him are known,
모든 염려 맡으사
All my sorrows are His own.
항상 도와 주시네
He sustains the hid den life
예수 함께 계시며
Safe with Him from earthly strife.
참된 생명 얻겠네
