I've found a Friend (주 예수 내가 알기 전) 

1. I've found a Friend, oh, such a Friend!

주 예수 내가 알기 전
He loved me ere I knew Him
날 먼저 사랑했네
He drew me with the cords of love,
그 크신 사랑 나타나
And thus He bound me to Him.
내 영혼 거듭났네
And 'round my heart still closely twine
주 내 맘에 늘 계시고
Those ties which naught can sever
나 주의 안에 있어
For I am Him, and He is mine,
저 포도 비유 같으니
Forever and forever.

2. I've found a Friend, oh, such a Friend!

내 친구 되신 예수님
He died to save me
날 구원하시려고
And not alone the gift of life,
그 귀한 몸을 버리사
But His own self He gave me.
내 죄를 대속 했네
Naught that I have my own I call
나 주님을 늘 믿으며
I hold it for the Giver.
그 손을 의지하고
My heart, my strength, my life, my all
내 몸과 맘을 바쳐서
Are His, and His forever.
끝까지 충성하리

3. I've found a Friend, oh, such a Friend!

내 진실하신 친구여
So kind, and true, and tender,
큰 은혜 내려주사
So wise a Counsellor and Guide,
날 항상 보호 하시고
So mighty a Defender!
내 방패 되옵소서
From Him Who loves me now so well
그 풍성한 참 사랑을
What pow'r my soul can sever
뉘 능히 끊을 소냐
Shall life or death, or earth or hell
날 구원하신 예수는
No! I am His forever.
