1. When I saw the cleansing fountain
정결하게 하는 샘이
Open wide for all my sin,
나의 앞에 있도다
I obeyed the Spirit's wooing,
성령께서 권고하되
When He said, Wilt thou be clean
죄 씻으라 하시네
(Refrain) I will praise Him! I will praise Him!
(후렴) 찬양하리 찬양하리
Praise the Lamb for sinners slain
죽임 당한 어린양
Give Him glory, all ye people,
주께 영광 돌리어라
For His blood can wash away each stain.
우리 죄를 씻어주셨네
2. Tho' the way seem'd strait and narrow,
나 가는 길 비록 좁고
All I claimed was a sweptway
내 뜻대로 안돼도
My ambitions, plans, and wishes,
모든 욕심 다 버리고
At my feet in ashes lay.
주만 따라 가겠네
3. Then God's fire upon the al-tar
나의 마음 제단 위에
Of my heart was set aflame
불길같이 타도다
I shall never cease to praise Him,
영원토록 찬양하며
Glory, glory to His name!
주께 영광 돌리리
4. Blessed be the name of Jesus!
감사하신 주의 은혜
I'm so glad He took me in
나를 영접하셨네
He's forgiven my transgressions,
내가 지은 모든 죄와
He has cleansed my heart from sin.
허물 용서 하셨네
5. Glory, glory to the Father!
성부 하나님께 영광
Glory, glory to the Son!
성자 예수께 영광
Glory, glory to the Spirit!
성령님께 크신 영광
Glory to the Three in one!
