1. O God, the Rock of Ages,

오 만세 반석이신
Who evermore hast been,
대 주재 하나님
What time the tempest rages,
저 창조 이전부터
Our dwelling place serene:
또 무궁한 세대
Before Thy first creations,
한없는 영광 중에
O Lord, the same as now,
그 보좌 있으니
To end-less generations The
큰 환난 풍파라도
Everlasting Thou!
흔들지 못하네

2. Our years are like the shadows

이 인생 사는 것이
On sunny hills that lie,
뜬 구름 같으며
Or grasses in the meadows
주 푸른 동산 속에
That blossom but to die
꽃송이 같도다
A sleep, a dream, a story,
풀 위의 이슬 같고
By strangers quickly told,
꿈같이 잠들어
An unremaining glory
이 세상 모든 영광
Of things that soon are old.
곧 사라지도다

3. O Thou, who dost not slumber,

한 없는 사랑으로
Whose light grows never pale,
늘 한결같으신
Teach us aright to number
주 자비 베푸시고
Our years before they fail
큰 은혜 내리사
On us Thy mercy lighten,
내 평생 짧은 세월
On us Thy goodness rest,
빛나게 살도록
And let Thy Spirit brighten The hearts
참 빛인 성령으로
