1. Lord of all being, throned afar,

저 해와 달과 별들이
Thy glory flames from sun and star
주 영광 드러내도다
Center and soul or every sphere,
저 높은 보좌 계신 주
Yet to each loving heart how near!
뭇 성도 맘에 계시네

2. Sun of our life, Thy quickening ray

저 생명 근원되는 빛
Sheds on our path the glow of day
내 맘에 밝히 비치고
Star of our hope, Thy softened light
저 어두운 밤에 환한 빛
Cheers the long watches of the night.
내 근심 위로 하도다

3. Our mid-night is Thy smile withdrawn

주 낯을 뵙지 못할 때
Our noontide is Thy gracious dawn
저 밤과 같이 어둡고
Our rainbow arch, Thy mercy's sign
나 죄의 구름 헤칠 때
All, save the clouds of sun, are Thine.
대낮과 같이 환하다

4. Lord of all life, below, above,

내 주는 세상 빛이요
Whose light is truth, whose warmth is love,
길이요 생명이로다
Before Thy everblazing throne
그 보좌 앞에 있을 때
We ask no luster of our own.
해와 달 쓸 데 없도다

5. Grant us Thy ruth to make us free,

내 주의 크신 진리로
And kindling hearts that burn for Thee
내 마음 놓아 주시고
Till all Thy living altars claim
내 주의 넓은 은혜로
One holy light, one heavenly flame! Amen.
