Matthew 5:17~20 (마태복음 5:17~20) 

17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophrts; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

17 내가 율법이나 선지자를 폐하러 온 줄로 생각지 말라 폐하러 온 것이 아니요 완전케 하려 함이로다

abolish : 폐지하다  

not to abolish ~ but to fulfill~ : 폐지하기 위함이 아니라 완수하기 위하여 (not A but B : A가 아니라 B)

18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not a least stroke of pen, will by any means disappear from the law until everything is accomplished.

18 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 천지가 없어지기 전에는 율법의 일점 일획이라도 반드시 없어지지 아니하고 다 이루리라

not the smallest letter, ~will by any means disappear~ : 가장 작은 글자 하나라도 결코 사라지지 않을 것이다 (not by any means는 '결코 ~이 아니다')

19 And who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

19그러므로 누구든지 이 계명 중에 지극히 작은 것 하나라도 버리고 또 그같이 사람을 가르치는 자는 천국에서 지극히 작다  일컬음을 받을 것이요 누구든지 이를 행하며 가르치는 자는 천국에서 크다 일컬음을 받으리라

one of the least of these commandments는 '이 계명 중에서 가장 작은 하나'

whoever practices and teaches 이하는 '~을 실행하고 가르치는 사람은 누구든지' (whoever는 복합관계대명사로 'anyone who~'의 의미)

20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.  

20 내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희 의가 서기관과 바리새인보다 더 낫지 못하면 결단코 천국에 들어가지 못하리라
