1. Not worthy, Lord, to gather up the crumbes

주 앞에 성찬 받기 위하여
With trembling hand, that from Thy table fall,
이 죄인 감히 나아옵니다
A weary, heavyladen sinner comes
주 공로 믿고 떨며 나오니
To plead Thy promise and obey Thy call.
내 죄를 용서하여 주소서

2. I am not worthy to be thought Thy child,

죄 길로 나가 방황했으나
Nor sit the last or lowest at Thy board
주 앞에 감히 돌아옵니다
Too long a wanderer, and too oft beguiled,
자녀 될 자격 내게 없어도
I only ask one reconciling word
주 나를 용납하여 주소서

3. one word from Thee, my Lord! one smile, on look,

한번만 주의 음성 들어도
And I could face the cold, rough world again,
그 말씀 내게 능력 되어서
And with that treasure in my heart could brook
이 세상 마귀 유혹 이기고
The wrath of devils and the scorn of men.
원수의 비방 막게 됩니다

4. I heat Thy voice Thou bid'st me come and rest

온유한 주의 음성 듣고서
I come, I kneel, I clasp Thy pierced feet.
죄인은 와서 쉬임 얻으며
Thou bid'st me take my place, a welcome guest,
성도들 함께 참여하여서
Among Thy saints, and of Thy ban-quet eat
베푸신 잔치 먹게 됩니다

5. My praise can only breathe itself in pray'r

기도와 찬송 주께 드리고
My pray'r can only lose itself in Thee.
주님의 떡과 잔을 받으니
Dwell Thou for ever in my heart, and there,
내 맘에 주여 들어오셔서
Lord, let me sup with thee sup Thou with me! Amen.
