1. Break Thou the bread of life, Dear Lord, to me,
주 예수 해변서 떡을 떼사
As Thou didst break the loaves Beside the sea.
무리를 먹이어 주심같이
Beyond the sacred page I seek Thee, Lord
영생의 양식을 나에게도
My spirit pants for Thee, O living Word!
풍족히 나누어 주옵소서
2. Thou art the bread of life, O Lord, to me,
생명의 말씀인 나의 주여
Thy holy Word the truth That saveth me.
목말라 주님을 찾나이다
Give me to eat and live With Thee above.
해변서 무리를 먹임 같이
Teach me to love Thy truth, For Thou art love.
갈급한 내 심령 채우소서
3. Bless Thou the truth, dear Lord, To me, to me,
내 주여 진리의 말씀으로
As Thou didst bless the bread By Galilee.
사슬에 얽매인 날 풀으사
Then shall all bondage cease, All fetters fall,
내 맘에 평화를 누리도록
And I shall find my peace, My All in All.
영원한 생명을 주옵소서
4. O send Thy Spirit, Lord, Now unto me,
성령을 내 맘에 보내셔서
That He may touch my eyes And make me see:
내어둔 영의 눈 밝히시사
Show me the truth concealed Within Thy Word,
말씀에 감추인 참 진리를
And in Thy Book revealed I see the Lord. Amen.
