Far and near their gold is gleaming
어디든지 태양빛에
O'er the sunny slope and plain.
향기 진동 하도다
(Refrain) Lord of harvest, send forth reapers!
(후렴) 무르익은 저 곡식은
Hear us, Lord to Thee we cry
낫을 기다리는데
Send them now the sheaves to gather,
기회 지나 가기 전에
Ere the harvest time pass by.
어서 추수합시다
2. Send them forth with morn's first beaming,
추수할 것 많은 때에
Send them in the noontide's glare
일꾼 심히 적으니
When the sun's last lays are gleaming,
열심 있는 일꾼들을
Bid them gather ev'rywhere.
주여 보내주소서
3. O thou, whom thy Lord is sending,
먼동 틀 때 일어나서
Gather now the sheaves of gold
일찍 들에 나아가
Heav'nward then at ev'ning wending,
황혼 때가 되기까지
Thou shalt come with joy untold.
추수하게 하소서
4. When the harvest is completed
거둬들인 모든 알곡
And the last grain safely stor'd,
천국 창고 들인 후
Then with joy shall we be seated
주가 베풀 잔치자리
At the banquet of the Lord.
