Matthew 9:27~38 (마태복음 9:27~38)

27 As Jesus went on from there, two blindmen followed him, calling out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!"

27 예수께서 거기서 떠나가실쌔 두 소경이 따라오며 소리질러 가로되 다윗의 자손이여 우리를 불쌍히 여기소서 하더니

have mercy on ~: ~에게 자비를 베풀다

28 When he had gone indoors, the blindmen came to him, and he asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" "Yes Lord." they replied. 

28 예수께서 집에 들어가시매 소경들이 나아오거늘 예수께서 이르시되 예수께서 이르시되 내가 능히 이 일 할 줄을 믿느냐 대답하되 주여 그러하오이다 하니 

29 Then he touched their eyes and said, According to your faith will it be done to you";

29 이에 예수꼐서 저희 눈을 만지시며 가라사대 너희 믿음대로 되라 하신대

according to your faith는 '너의 믿음에 따라'의 뜻,

willbe done은 수동태 미래형  

30 and their sight restored. Jesus warned them sternly, "See that no one knows about this."

30 그 눈들이 밝아진지라 예수께서 엄히 경계하시되 삼가 아무에게도 알게 하지 말라 하셨으나

sterly 엄(격)하게

See that no one knows about this : 아무도 이에 대하여 일지 못하도록 하라 (see that은 '살펴보다', '확인하다' 등의 의미)

31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region. 

31 저희가 나가서 예수의 소문을 그 온 땅에 전파하니라

 all over that region (throughout that region) : 그 지방 전역에

32 While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus.

32 저희가 나갈 때에 귀신 들려 벙어리 된 자를 예수께 데려오니

33 And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.

33 귀신이 쫓겨나고 벙어리가 말하거늘 무리가 기이히 여겨 가로되 이스라엘 가운데서 이런 일을 본 때가 없다 하되

Nothing like this has ever been seen~ : 이제까지 이와 같은 일이 목격된 적이 없다 (has been은 수동태 현재완료형) 

34 But the Pharisees said , " It is the prince of demons that he drives out demons."

34 바리새인들은 가로되 저가 귀신의 왕을 빙자하여 귀신을 쫓아낸다 하더라

It is the prince of demons that he drives out demons : He drives out demons by the prince of demons 에서 by the demons를 강조하기 위한 'It~that' 강조구문

35  Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in the synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.

35 예수께서 모든 성과 촌에 두루 다니사 저희 회당에서 기르치시며 천국 복음을 전파하시며 모든 병과 모든 약한 것을 고치시니라

through (out) : ~의 전역에, 두루두루

36 When he saw the crowds, he had own-compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless like sheep without the shepherd.

36 무리를 보시고 민망히 여기시니 이는 저희가 목자 없는 양과 같이 고생하며 유리함이라

harass 귀챦게 괴롭히다

have compassion on : ~을 불쌍히(측은히) 여기다

37 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiple but the workers are few,

37 이에 제자들에게 이르시되 추수할 것은 많되 일군은 적으니

38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore , to send out workers into his harvest field." 

38 그러므로 추수하는 주인에게 청하여 추수할 일군들을 보내어 주소서 하라 하시니라
