1. Fa-ther of mercies in Thy Word
사랑의 하늘 아버지
What endless glory shines!
주님의 말씀은
For ever be Thy name adored
영원한 빛이 되시니
For these celestial lines.
참 감사합니다
2. Here may the wretched sons of want
비천한 우리들에게
Exhaustless riches find
세상이 못 주는
Riches above what earth can grant,
무한한 영의 양식을
And lasting as the mind.
늘 내려줍소서
3. Here the Redeemer's welcome voice
구주의 귀한 음성은
Spreads heavenly peace around
하늘의 평화와
And life and everlasting joys
영원한 생명 되시니
At-tend the blissful sound.
참 복된 일일세
4. Oh, may these heavenly pages be
거룩한 주의 말씀은
My ever dear delight!
영원히 내 기쁨
And still new beauties may I see,
새 힘이 되어 주시니
And still increasing light.
늘 승리하겠네
5. Divine Instructor, gracious Lord!
거룩한 선생 예수여
Be Thou for ever near
늘 함께 계셔서
Teach me to love Thy sacred Word,
주 말씀 따라 살도록
And view my Saviour there. Amen.
늘 알게 합소서 아멘
