28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching,

28 예수께서 이 말씀을 마치시매 무리들이 그 가르치심에 놀래니

finish는 동명사(~ing)를 목적어로 갖는 동사

be amazed at은 '~을 보고/듣고 놀라다'의 의미

29 because he thaught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.

29 이는 그 가르치시는 것이 권세 있는 자와 같고 저희 서기관들과 같지 아니함일러라

one who had authority, and not as their teachers~ (+ not as one who~but as theie teacher~) : B and not A (not A but B)로 'A가 아니라 B'의 의미 

1 When he came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him.

1 예수께서 산에서 내려오시니 허다한 무리가 좇으니라

large crowds(많은 군중들) : 군중(crowds)을 집단의 크기로 여겨 '많다'는 의미로 large를 사용, 반대의 경우에는 small을 사용하여 수식함

2 A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, "Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean."

2 한 문둥병자가 나아와 절하고 가로되 주여 원하시면 저를 깨끗게 하실 수 있나이다 하거늘

leprosy 나병, 문둥병, 도덕적 부패

3 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. " I am willing," he said.

"Be clean!" Immediately he was cured his leprosy.

3 예수꼐서 손을 내밀어 저에게 대시며 가라사대 내가 원하노니 깨끗함을 받으라 하신대

즉시 문둥병이 깨끗하여진지라

reach out은 '(손, 발 등을) 내밀다', '뻗다'

be cured of는 '~에서 고침을 받다' (cure A of B:A의 B라는 질병을 고치다)  

4 Then Jesus said to him, "See that you don't tell anyone.

But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."  

4 예수께서 이르시되 삼가 아무에게도 이르지 말고 다만 가서 제사장에게 네 몸을 보이고

모세의 명한 예물을 드려 저희에게 증거하라 하시니라
